PMAY Community Event: Richard Antoine White aka RAWTuba
PMAY Artists’ Initiative, in collaboration with WRTI-FM is delighted to present tubist and author, Dr. Richard Antoine White, and his brother, rapper William White, in Philadelphia for a performance and talk at our Mary Louise Curtis Branch (416 Queen St) on March 31, 2023 at 6.30 p.m.
Richard is the author of I’m Possible, a PMAY recommended reading about his journey through music from a young age to become the first African American to receive a Doctorate Degree in Tuba.
This PMAY community event is free and open to ALL including students, families, faculty and staff from all PMAY partner organizations and the public, limited to 200 guests. We hope that you can join us.
We would love to host a potluck after the event at 7.30 p.m. Please RSVP so that we can plan the set-up and let us know if you can contribute. No obligations to contribute. Free parking onsite with on-street parking available.
