Andrea Green is a music therapist, educator, playwright, composer, and director whose musical work is published by Samuel French, Inc. and Andrea Green Music. Her inclusive approach gives youngsters of all abilities an opportunity to participate in the musical experience while fostering empathy, communication, and acceptance. Andrea was honored with a Proclamation in 2012 by the City of Philadelphia, recognizing her 30 years of teaching tolerance. Andrea’s work is also the subject of the 2015 Emmy-award winning documentary on the Other Side of the Fence, which received a special humanitarian award from the United Nations Department of Public Information and numerous other awards. Andrea is a consultant at the HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy, The Philadelphia School, the St. John School of the Arts and The Stephen Sondheim Center for the Arts. Her Musicals have been performed in hundreds of theaters nationally and internationally. She has a Bachelor of Music degree and a Masters in Creative Arts in Therapy.
