Diamond Franklin is a pianist and classically trained vocalist specializing in opera, jazz, and gospel music. A Mount Airy, Philadelphia native, Diamond has trained under renowned musicians Monnette Sudler, Ruth Naomi Floyd and Angel Joy Blue, and has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Walnut Street Theatre, and the Kimmel Center with Rock and R&B artists, Jon Bon Jovi and Estelle. Diamond received her Bachelor of Music from Cairn University in Langhorne, PA and has volunteered as a music therapist with the School District of Philadelphia for children with autism. Diamond is an early childhood music instructor at Settlement Music School. In addition to teaching and performing, Diamond loves reading historical fiction and spending time with her family and adorable tabby cat, Loki.
