Gita is an Assistant Teacher at the Settlement Music School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University where she studied primarily dance and psychology. She is currently a dual master’s candidate at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and School of Social Policy & Practice where she is studying education policy, cultural anthropology, and ethnographic filmmaking. She has an extensive background in movement and vocal performance and enjoys supporting arts and cultural organizations in any way she can. She is passionate about advancing the field of music therapy and using her skills to help cultivate a new generation of artists.
