After teaching in Philadelphia for 5 years, Michelle she was chosen to jumpstart the music major at Franklin Learning Center to new levels of excellence as their new vocal music teacher. At FLC and elsewhere, Mrs. Frank has led concert choirs, jazz ensembles, and directed school musicals. A classical singer and former arts administrator, Mrs. Frank has performed leading roles with Opera Philadelphia, Center City Opera Theater, Garden State Opera, Florida State Opera, and ConcertOpera Philadelphia. She also served as Director of Foundation and Government Support and the Director of Development Services at The Curtis Institute of Music, specializing in grant writing, reporting, and relations for Curtis’ foundation and government prospects. Mrs. Frank holds degrees in Accounting, Music, and Theater from Lehigh University, a Master of Music from Florida State University, and a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Music Education from Eastern University. Mrs. Frank loves teaching because it gives her the opportunity to share her love of music with the young people of Philadelphia.
