Creative Arts Therapist
Miles Crabtree earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance on the drumset from Loyola University in New Orleans in 2014. Before beginning the Master’s equivalency program in Music Therapy at Temple University in the fall of 2019, he worked as a special education teacher, afterschool music teacher, and camp director, as well as being a professional musician. Miles has been a board-certified music therapist since June 2022, and will earn his master’s degree in music therapy December of 2023. In addition to working as a music therapist, Miles is the drummer/singer/songwriter of local kindie (“kids’ indie”) band Ants on a Log, which performs music about social justice, environmentalism, and inclusion in Philadelphia and beyond.
