Yolanda Abreu, MA, ATR graduated from Drexel University in 2015 with her Master’s in Art Therapy and counseling. Yolanda is a Registered Art Therapist and is currently completing qualifications to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has enjoyed making all types of art throughout her life including dabbling in woodworking and metal sculpture though is more comfortable in two dimensions. Yolanda is currently focusing on watercolor painting for her own self-expression but utilizes a variety of materials and techniques in art therapy work. As an art therapist, Yolanda has worked with a variety of age groups and populations including older adults, children and teens with autism, and trauma survivors of all ages. Yolanda is excited to be a part of the Arts Therapy program at Settlement Music School and is looking forward to developing relationships with the students and staff.
