Heather has a rich teaching background, including roles at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s OrchKids and The Bridges Music Program where she has served as a violin/viola teacher. She has held positions as Assistant Principal and member of the Peabody Symphony Orchestra and has performed with various prestigious ensembles, including the PMEA All-State Symphony Orchestra as principal violist, NAfME All Eastern Conference, and the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra where she has performed in well-known halls all around Philadelphia.

Heather’s commitment to music education and performance is complemented by her involvement in numerous summer festivals and collaborations with renowned professors from the Peabody Institute, Curtis Institute of Music, The Juilliard School, Rice University, and The Cleveland Institute of Music. Her broad experience in pedagogy and orchestral music makes her a versatile and dedicated educator, ready to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians.
