When can I expect to receive an invoice from PayPal?
PayPal invoices are only generated retroactively. If you have not paid your weekly fee in advance of your lesson, a PayPal invoice will be generated within 2-3 days after your lesson. Please note that invoices are generated automatically and we cannot send new invoices upon request. If you have not received an invoice for an unpaid lesson within a week of your lesson, please contact your branch staff.
How often are invoices sent out?
Invoices are sent out each Tuesday and Friday in the afternoon.
Do I need a PayPal account to pay via PayPal?
No, you do not. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can still submit a payment by clicking on the link in your email and entering your credit card information. The payment is still processed via PayPal, but no PayPal account is necessary.
I received an invoice but I don’t want to pay online via PayPal or with my credit card. Can I still pay by cash or check? Can I call and give you my credit card number?
Yes, you can certainly pay by any method you’d like. If you want to send a check via mail, you can find your branch’s address here. We still accept cash payments at our branches, and you can call the branch and relay your credit card information to pay over the phone.
Can I make an advance payment via PayPal or make a partial payment towards an invoice?
Yes, you can. If you don’t want to wait for an invoice to be generated and would rather pay for your lessons in advance, or would like to make a partial payment towards an outstanding invoice, you can send a payment of any amount through PayPal to firstname.lastname@example.org at any time. When doing so, please include the branch name and student name so that we can be sure to apply it correctly. Please note that these payments may take more than 24 hours to be applied to your account.
When will my PayPal payment be reflected on my account?
Payments paid on a PayPal invoice are processed and reflected on your account within one hour. Payments submitted directly to email@example.com without going through an invoice may take longer. If you have made a PayPal payment on the day of your lesson and want to confirm the payment has been received, please email your PayPal receipt to your branch staff.
I just made a payment via PayPal. Why did I receive another invoice?
Payments made via PayPal take about an hour to apply to your account. If your recent payment was made within an hour of receiving a new, automatically-generated invoice, the new payment has likely not fully processed on your account. Payments made outside of a PayPal invoice, through either our branch staff or the Business Office, may take longer to apply. Please wait for the next automatic invoice to see your recent payment reflected.
If your payment has applied to your account and you have still received a new invoice, your payment may have gone towards an outstanding balance on your account. In this case, the charges on your new invoice are likely for unpaid lessons that have recently occurred. Remember that you are charged retroactively for every scheduled lesson time, regardless of attendance.
