Ben Auger was one of Settlement Music School’s most ardent supporters. An alumni parent and student himself, he was a member of our Central Board for 20 years. He and his wife Carol founded our Benjamin & Carol Auger Contemporary Music Advanced Study Ensemble. When Ben passed away in April 2023, he left a legacy of kindness, philanthropy, and a deep commitment to the arts. We sorely miss him and his smiling face at our concerts and are honored to have the chance to memorialize him appropriately.

Besides his love of Settlement, Ben also loved golf. Linking the two together only made sense! The outing will be held at his home course, Rolling Green Golf Club. The club was most recently ranked 19th in the state by Golf Digest and described as: “A hidden gem in a golf-rich market” and one “Not to be missed for a golf outing.”
