Maggie Jaramillo

Maggie Jaramillo (MJ) is a Youth Engagement Specialist with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, supporting young people, families, and communities through music, mentorship, and restorative practices. She currently serves at Rock to the Future in Philadelphia, where she designs and facilitates opportunities that integrate Social Emotional Learning (SEL), trauma-informed approaches, and youth leadership. MJ has worked across schools, community spaces, and justice-aligned programs, equipping both youth and adults with tools for growth, resilience, and connection.

In addition to her nonprofit work, MJ has spent seven years holding space for movement and wellness offerings in her community, weaving practices of mindfulness, creativity, and care. She holds a degree in Psychology with additional studies in childhood development and certifications in Life Coaching, Peer Support, Meditation Leadership, and Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT). Guided by her belief in the power of relationships and creative expression, MJ builds bridges between educators, youth, and families to strengthen communities and create lasting impact.
