Cello Faculty

Yohanna Heyer is a classically trained cellist from Philadelphia. She recently graduated from the Boyer College of Music at Temple University with a Bachelor’s of Music in cello music performance, where she studied with Philadelphia Orchestra cellist, John Koen. She also received a minor in Africology and is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where all students feel represented. She is currently undergoing Suzuki pedagogy training as part of her work with the Settlement Music School’s Tapestry Strings program.
