Nero Catalano studied classical guitar with Julian Gray at the Peabody Conservatory of Music and later went on to earn a BM from the University of the Arts, where he studied jazz guitar with Jimmy Bruno, Steve Giordano, and Tom Giacabetti. He taught guitar, bass, and coached ensembles at the Paul Green School of Rock Music during its formative years and went on to be the Music Director of the Downingtown and then the Philadelphia branches. Nero has recorded and toured playing original music as far as Shanghai and has played everywhere from CBGB to the Fillmore. He is also much in demand for pit orchestras and bands, performing most recently at the Arden and Walnut Street Theatres.
