Kathleen joined Settlement Music School in September 2017. Kathleen graduated from The State University of New York College at Fredonia with Bachelor of Music Degrees in Music Education and Viola Performance. She has a wide range of teaching and professional performance experience and received her Masters of Liberal Studies with a Concentration in Arts Education from Stonybrook University. She was the founding violin and viola Teaching Artist during Play On, Philly’s inception in 2010 and served in a leadership position for seven years.

Kathleen is a violist in the Bucks County Symphony Orchestra and serves on the Board of Directors for the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County.  In addition, Kathleen consults with national organizations such as the Houston Symphony and various youth orchestral programs to assist in achieving their goals of high-quality arts education for all with whom they work.
