A donor-advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable savings account, allowing you to receive a charitable income tax deduction when the DAF is created with a community foundation or other sponsoring organization, and then recommending one-time or recurring grants to Settlement and other nonprofit organizations. Simply contact the sponsoring organization where you have established your DAF and recommend a gift to Settlement.
