On April 15^th, in the auditorium of the Kardon-Northeast Branch, Philly Celebrates Jazz and the Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy presents Philadelphia’s Jazz Greats at Settlement Music School. The event, which will be held from 1:30-3:30pm, will feature a concert by Settlement Music School Jazz faculty and vibraphonist Tony Miceli and his trio. The event is free, and will kick off with a pre-concert workshop with the artists.  Come to the Kardon-Northeast Branch and celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month with us!

This recital will feature PMAY Artists and is free and open to the public. PMAY Artists Initiative is a program for serious music students from groups historically underrepresented on the concert stage, who wish to pursue careers in classical music. The performance will showcase approximately 8 artists across a variety of instruments and will be about an hour in length. A small reception will follow the event.
