Katie Cannon

Katie is a marketing and fundraising professional with more than 15 years of experience in leading multi-channel campaigns that both generate donations and build brand. Katie holds a master’s degree in arts administration from Drexel University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Saint Joseph’s University.

Since joining C3C in 2020, Katie has worked with clients on a wide range of initiatives, including grant writing, prospect research, annual appeals, email campaigns, and marketing plans. Before joining C3C, Katie was a Senior Marketing & Communications Manager at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA) where she managed integrated member acquisition, renewal, upgrade, and additional giving campaigns. During her 12-year tenure, she rose to lead many of the department’s initiatives to generate $5M in unrestricted revenue and maintain 30,000 members.

Prior to PMA, Katie was a Development Director for Main Line Art Center in Haverford, PA where she was responsible for all fundraising to generate 30% of the Art Center’s $1.5M annual operating budget. She started her career supporting fundraising efforts for a $75M comprehensive campaign for the Chemical Heritage Foundation in Old City Philadelphia (now the Science History Institute) and found her interest in the cultural sector after interning for the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau in college.
