Alan Ens is a guitarist who truly loves playing all styles of guitar out there from classical music to experimental improv and everything in between. He has spent time performing in rock bands, jazz groups, a free improv trio, a classical guitar orchestra as well as a guitar quartet after settling here post college at Uarts. He has continued after school with classical guitar and Suzuki teaching studies.

Alan teaches a very wide variety of students and on any given day will be improvising jazz in one lesson then in the next helping students out with classical pieces and in the next showing someone how to play a punk rock song. Alan enjoys being a guitar teacher that can identify with almost anyones musical tastes – and thats where a good music lesson starts.

In his free time – recording songs in his home studio is his current big passion.
