Ali Trofe’s passion for teaching piano continually grows through her rewarding experiences as a piano instructor. Ali received her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Susquehanna University and her Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition to her background in piano education, Ali has equal practice in the realm of performance. She has played a broad range of keyboard repertoire in dozens of solo and collaborative performances. Ali has performed with the West Shore Symphony Orchestra in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and at Niigata University during her study abroad in Japan. Ali’s central goal as a piano educator is to cultivate enthusiasm and a lifelong appreciation for music in her students. She strives to create a supportive, fun, and honest learning environment. One of Ali’s areas of pedagogical interest/research is the use of creative movement in the field of music education.
