PMAY Artists' Initiative Manager & Faculty
Chiara Ferrero is a Philadelphia-based violinist and arts administrator. Cultivating a successful career as an advocate for young artists, she was appointed Program Manager for the PMAY Artists’ Initiative in 2023. She is a certified Suzuki violin teacher and is currently on faculty at Settlement Music School teaching violin lessons and group classes for the Tapestry Suzuki program. Her students have gone on and become members of city youth orchestras and been featured as soloists with their school orchestras.
Also an accomplished violinist, Chiara freelances with orchestras across Pennsylvania. She has performed with orchestras and ensembles on the West Coast such as the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Arizona Baroque Ensemble. Chiara earned a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance from the University of Delaware studying with Xiang Gao and a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance from the University of Arizona with Timothy Kantor.

A: Spend time outdoors, play with my dog Pippo and cook!
