Ed Contaldi is a Board Certified Music Therapist and certified Special Education Teacher. He received a Bachelor of Science in Special, Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Temple University. He studied Music Therapy in Immaculata University’s Graduate program . He is a Special Education teacher at HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy in Philadelphia. Ed provides individual music therapy at the Kardon-Northeast Branch. Ed is also certified in the Affect-Based Language Curriculum (Greenspan/Lewis) and Therapeutic Listening. His approach to Music Therapy is informed by Stanley Greenspan’s DIR/Floortime philosophy and techniques. He also specializes in the use of adaptive computer technology to enhance our students’ self-expression through music.
