Cellist Jacob Ginn enjoys a multifaceted career in music as both a performer and educator.

A specialist in Suzuki pedagogy, Jacob leads the Suzuki cello programs at Germantown Academy and Settlement Music School’s Tapestry Strings. He also coaches strings and piano chamber music to scholarship students in Settlement’s Pre-Advanced Studies program and serves as a cello coach for Philadelphia Youth Orchestra Music Institute’s Prysm Strings. He is a board member of the Greater Philadelphia Suzuki Association.

Jacob regularly performs with orchestras across the Mid-Atlantic region. While in Arizona, he often appeared with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Tucson Pops, West Valley Symphony, and Grammy-nominated True Concord. He is the former cellist of the Michie String Quartet at the University of Utah and member of the New World Trio and Levate Piano Trio.
