John M Frazier, a native of Philadelphia, holds a Master of Music degree in clarinet performance from Temple University where he went on a full scholarship. Teachers include the late Anthony Gigiliotti (Philadelphia Orchestra), George Silfies (St. Louis Symphony) and Ronald Reuben (Philadelphia Orchestra). He has been on the faculties of Luzerne Music camp where he performed chamber music with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. He has played with Delaware Symphony, Opera Delaware, Harrisburg Symphony and The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. Mr. Frazier held positions at Ursinus College as well as Temple University and currently is an affiliate artist with Cairn University. He has played with The Lettermen, Van Cliburn and many others, and recorded with members of The Philadelphia Orchestra and worked with such conductors as Alan Gilbert, Lawrence Leighton Smith and Stephen Gunzenhauser. Mr. Frazier resides in Abington, PA with his wife Phyllis, their children Madeleine and John.
