John Polanco Aviles, an accomplished trumpet player based in the Philadelphia music scene, has carved out a distinguished career across the Tri-state marked by both his performances and commitment to music education. A graduate of the University of the Arts, John has seamlessly blended his passion for teaching with a dynamic performing career, which has taken him to premier venues like the Wilma Theater and the Academy of Music. John has also shared some opportunities and experiences in the Philadelphia area within a wide range of musical genres including, Jazz, Classical, Hip-hop, R&B, Soul, Latin and contemporary music. His talent and dedication have led him to share the stage with renowned artists Lauryn Hill and the Fugees, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel. Additionally, he has performed with iconic salsa figures like Tito Puente Jr., Frankie Negron, Michael Stuart, Frankie Ruiz Jr. and Nino Segarra further highlighting his versatility across genres.
