Jordan Graef graduated from Temple University in May 2013 with a B.M. in Music Education (Saxophone Concentration). While at Temple he studied saxophone with Marshall Taylor, Dick Oatts, and Tim Warfield and was part of the Diamond Marching Band, Wind Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Lab Band, and University Chorale. In addition to teaching with Settlement, he teaches for The School District of Philadelphia as a Classroom Instrumental Music Teacher; he serves six schools throughout the week, teaching woodwinds, brass, percussion, and strings to students in grades 4 – 12. Mr. Graef has also worked on the marching band staff of Strath Haven High School as a woodwind technician and marching instructor. He is active as a performer in many genre and is also an active member of the National Association for Music Education and a brother of the national music fraternity Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
