Laura Kate Marshall, a voice teacher at Settlement Music School since 2016, is an internationally, classically trained soprano. A versatile singer, Laura has performed Opera, Zarzuela, Art Song and Musical Theatre across the United States and in Europe. Laura has worked with The Little Orchestra Society and the Oratorio Society of New York, opened the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and was a guest on The Late Show as a member of the Broadway production of A Christmas Carol. Her most recent project was serving as the Music Director and Vocal Instructor for the 2018 Summer Youth Musical Theatre program of Philadelphia’s production of “Beauty and the Beast”. Laura’s bachelors degree began at NYU in Musical Theatre and was completed in Vocal Performance at the Longy School of Music of Bard College. Laura also holds a Masters of Vocal Performance with a focus on Early Music from the Longy School of Music of Bard College.
