Dr. Linda Reichert has enjoyed teaching piano at the Settlement Music School for more than 30 years; in addition, for the past seven years, she has coached the Benjamin and Carol Auger Contemporary Piano Quartet, an Advanced Study scholarship ensemble at Settlement. While completing her doctoral degree in piano performance at Temple University during the 1980s, she co-founded the Network for New Music, an organization devoted to performing and commissioning new music by living composers. As Artistic Director, she has helped lead NNM into prominence as one of the finest new music ensembles and commissioning organizations in the country. She regularly performs with the Network Ensemble, and is in demand as a speaker, music panelist, board member, and judge for numerous organizations and competitions. In addition to her passion for music, Linda enjoys gardening, dancing, hiking, traveling and being with her family.
