Lois Ann DiDomenico received her Bachelor of Music degree from The Philadelphia Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Alison R. Drake, and her Master of Music degree from the Philadelphia Musical Academy as a student of Genia Robinor and Jani Szanto. Additional studies were at the Peabody Conservatory of Music (Esteban), the International Summer School of the Arts in Nice, France, Suzuki Piano Certification with Patricia Freeman, and Children’s Music Workshop training with Martha Glaze Zook. She teaches both traditional and Suzuki methods. In 2007, she received the Sol Schoenbach Award for distinguished service to Settlement. She also taught piano for ten years at Friends Central School. Lois is a member of The Leschetizky Association of NYC and also serves on the board of her local community development corporation which supports start-up business/artist ventures. She and her husband have three sons who all studied at Settlement, and her other passions include gardening and raising Great Danes.
