Chief Marketing and Communications Officer

Megan has led Settlement’s Marketing Department since 2018. In collaboration with her team and colleagues, Settlement has secured multiple awards and press placements from outlets including the Philadelphia Business Journal, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and Philadelphia Magazine. In 2018, she led the rollout of Settlement’s rebrand, which included the launch of a new website, revamped logo, visual identity, and messaging. In the early months of the pandemic in 2020, her team worked closely with Settlement’s CEO and Chief Academic Officer to launch the School’s first virtual branch, Settlement Music Online, which expanded the School’s reach to multiple states across the country.  

   

Prior to her role at Settlement, Megan spent a decade in public media at WHYY News in Philadelphia. As Executive Producer of “The Pulse,” she was part of the founding team that helped launch the health and science radio show/podcast on multiple media platforms across the country. Her communications experience also includes roles in TV news production, digital content writing and editing, and nonprofit public relations. Megan holds a BA in Communications from the University of Delaware and is a 2013 Leadership Philadelphia Fellow.
