Michael is an accomplished nonprofit finance leader with more than 20 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning. A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, he has overseen multi-million-dollar operating budgets, strengthened internal controls, and advanced financial reporting for major cultural institutions. His past roles include CFO of the Please Touch Museum and Controller at the Walnut Street Theatre, where he secured significant COVID-relief funding and supported major capital projects. A proud alumnus of Settlement Music School, Michael studied piano for four years at the Kardon–Northeast Branch under Jeffrey Reese. He is dedicated to combining financial stewardship with mission-driven leadership in the arts and nonprofit sector.
