Rahel Inniger received her “Lehrdiplom” in 1979 from the Conservatorium Bern (Switzerland) where she was a student of Rosemarie Stucki. As a 1980 recipient of a Kiefer/ Hablitzel Stiftung scholarship, she continued her education in the United States at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y. where she studied with Barry Snyder. She left Rochester with a Master of Music in Performance and Literature degree in 1982 to accept a teaching position at the Musikschule Kandertal in Frutigen, Switzerland where she remained until 1986. During this time, Ms. Inniger served as accompanist at the Konservatorium Bern in the master classes of clarinetists Jost Michaels and Kurt Weber, violinist Igor Ozim and cellist Siegfried Palm. In Philadelphia Ms. Inniger is on the faculty at Settlement Music School where she teaches both piano and chamber music. Rahel Inniger performs as a recitalist, collaborating with instrumentalists and vocalists, and is a member of the Elysian Camerata.
