Violin Faculty

Ran Cheng holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory and a Master of Music degree from Indiana University, where she also minored in viola. A Silver Medalist in the Stuhlberg Competition, Ran has performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony, Detroit Symphony, and Philadelphia Orchestra, and has held tenured positions with the Grant Park Festival Symphony Orchestra and Toledo Symphony. She brings extensive professional orchestral experience to her work as a violinist and teacher.
