Dance Faculty

Sarah Stevenson Price was born and raised in California. She earned her BA in Dance at the University of California, Irvine. Sarah grew up studying ballet, jazz, tap, and Polynesian. She lived in New York City for 11 years, learning from a variety of artists. In NYC, she performed with many modern dance companies, including tompricedance for over 10 years, whose movement is described as “filigree made of steel”, serving as both performer and rehearsal assistant. After relocating to Philly, she began teaching for Philadelphia Ballet’s Community Exchange Program. Sarah also teaches yoga to adults and is a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Sarah’s passion for dance is contagious. She believes everyone has the capacity to love dance, they just have to find the right fit. She is excited to perform in the Philly Fringe Festival this Fall. She lives in Cheltenham with her amazing husband and their three wonderful children.
