Sue Liedke received a double BA in Studio Art and Communications from Houghton College, and her MEd in Art Education from Tyler School of Art at Temple University. As an art educator Sue’s experience includes Family Arts Academy and Summer Art Camp at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Children’s Art Classes at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Visual Art Teacher at Settlement Music School’s Kaleidoscope and Kaleidoscope Plus programs. She is the recipient of a grant to incorporate technology into the classroom, allowing early learners to experiment with digital film-making and photography. Her classes at Settlement regularly collaborate with Philadelphia street artists, muralists, and local businesses, and she strives to incorporate contemporary artists and techniques into her lessons.
