Tayana Woodton is a cellist and Philadelphia native. She earned her Bachelor’s of Music at Mansfield University and her Master’s of Music at Binghamton University, and her major was Cello Performance at both universities. She studied under cellist and pedagogue Zachary Sweet to earn both degrees, who fostered her love of teaching. She currently works with the School District of Philadelphia, holds a fellowship with the Main Line Symphony Orchestra, and is Assistant Principal Cellist of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra.
