Settlement launches ‘Artful Community’ for adults affected by paralysis
Made possible by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, Settlement’s Kardon Center for Arts Therapy is bringing together individuals affected by paralysis as a result of a brain or spinal cord injury for in-person and virtual art therapy sessions to experience the benefits of group creative arts therapy.
Join other adults (18+) in the community and our art therapist to explore exciting methods of artistic expression in a group setting that you will soon call your new creative home.
No previous art experience is necessary to participate. Participants in the virtual sessions will receive art supplies via mail to participate in groups. All supplies for in-person sessions will be provided.
Cost: $5 per session.
In-person sessions will be held on Tuesdays at our Kardon-Northeast Branch at 11 a.m.
Virtual sessions are TBD
