Is your child having difficulty coping with the unprecedented challenges of isolation, loss of daily routine, and overall uncertainty due to the pandemic? You are not alone. So many of our kids are having trouble working through their big emotions with verbal communication as their only outlet. Getting them up and moving can provide a meaningful channel of expression, a boost in self-esteem, a connection with others, and a refreshing way to process their feelings.

Settlement Music School is now offering Creative Release, a four-week children’s online movement group, facilitated by trained dance/movement therapist, Daniella Brown. This Kardon Center for Arts Therapy group is open to all children from kindergarten through eighth grade who could benefit from additional support in working through difficult emotions in a creative way. Groups will be divided by the age groups listed below.

9 – 9:45 a.m. – K – 2^nd grade
10 – 10:45 a.m. – Grades 3-5
11 – 11:45 a.m. – Grades 6-8
