First Philadelphia-based Get JazzED Day Featured on CBS3
On Sunday, February 20, Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest, Jazz Philadelphia, and Settlement Music School hosted the first Philadelphia-based Get JazzED Day at Settlement’s Mary Louise Curtis Branch in Queen Village.
This special educational opportunity featured free workshops and jam sessions for student musicians to learn and play alongside professional musicians/clinicians including Gerald Veasley, Andrew Neu, Tony Miceli, Tim Hutson, Donald Robinson, Monette Sudler, Micah Graves, Matt Cappy, and Brent White.
Get JazzED is a music education program of Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest that is dedicated to building the jazz arts community by advancing education, promoting performance, and developing new audiences.
