“A lifeline amidst this terrible year.” That is how New York Times Bestselling Author Jennifer Weiner describes what Settlement Music School offered her this past year. Her piece, featured in the June edition of Philadelphia Magazine, focused on how music helped people stay connected to each other and to their shared humanity during the pandemic.

Settlement Music School is now offering Creative Release, a four-week children’s online movement class, facilitated by trained dance/movement therapist, Daniella Brown.

While masked and socially distanced, Khiree Stewart jumped right in for live demo lessons with faculty members Andy Thierauf, Daniella Brown, and Ian Sadock.

Fridays were very special days for Benjamin this spring. This spunky six year old, who will be starting kindergarten this fall, was enrolled in Settlement Music School’s online Children’s Music Workshop class with faculty member Krysta Fogel on Fridays.
