Join us for a conducting masterclass with Na’Zir McFadden. This event is free and open to the public. Please rsvp
here. American conductor Na’Zir McFadden is the Assistant Conductor and Phillip & Lauren Fisher Community Ambassador of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. McFadden also serves as Music Director of the Detroit Symphony Youth Orchestra. Together they’ll present three programs — exploring the masterworks of Sibelius, Schubert, Beethoven, Takashi Yoshimatsu and Einojuhani Rautavaara.

Heart & Soul at Settlement

Stop in anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. to learn more about Settlement Music School. This casual evening will feature performances, an instrument petting zoo, conversation, and refreshments.
