Open Jazz Jam, small group workshops, and a performance by an NYC woman-led big band, La Orquesta Esa!
Girls in jazz are especially encouraged, but we welcome students of ALL genders as well as parents, educators, and jazz enthusiasts. Come hear some amazing women in jazz! FREE!
STUDENTS: Bring your instruments! Jazz Jam for all skill levels and all instruments led by the Hailey Brinnel Quartet with Kal Ferretti. Sectional break outs to meet band members & practice new skills! All Ages! Bring a friend
PARENTS, EDUCATORS, JAZZ ENTHUSIASTS: Come for the opening jam and stay for a special break out session “UnSwung Heroes: Women In Jazz” – led by Nicole Sweeney (Jazz radio host, WRTI)
A PERFORMANCE by Ginita y La Orquesta Esa will wrap the day.
