Although modern day saxophones are usually made out of metal, they’re still a member of the woodwind family because they have a single-reed mouth piece, just like a clarinet. Saxophones come in a variety of sizes (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass) and are extremely popular in jazz music.
