Group Piano Classes
Currently offered at our new Helen Eaton Keyboard Lab, located in our Mary Louise Curtis Branch (416 Queen St.), group piano lessons offer a new way to learn at entry and intermediate levels, encouraging collaboration and introducing students to musicians of similar skill level.
Tuition: $595 for 15 weeks
Musicianship
Essential to music instruction, Musicianship offers theory and ear training at all levels.
Tuition: $395 for 16 weeks
Intro to Piano
This one-hour class teaches the basics of playing piano in a fun, collegial setting. Students will learn correct hand position, music theory, note-reading, and simple five-finger pieces with basic chords.
Tuition: $290 for 10 weeks
Guitar
Guitar covers note reading, pick and finger-style playing techniques, open position chords, and strumming patterns in several different styles, including folk, rock, blues, and classical. In addition to building upon fundamentals and sight reading, students will have the opportunity to expand upon folk, rock, blues, and classical repertoire. Upon completion, students are encouraged to further their experiences by joining an adult jazz or rock band. Students supply their own instrument.
